Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, from Mexico was born into a music-loving family. She spent most of her youth listening to classic music Boleros from the past, traditional ranchero or romantic songs along with older classical songs. Ana is a fan of tangos and operas as well as other theatrical performances. After singing with her mom, she started more serious training in singing at 16 under the tutelage of the renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca in Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was an active member of numerous opera choruses and chamber ensembles. Following her move into the United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002 she relocated to Southern California. The singer currently sings classic Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. She is involved with many local organizations and is a teacher as well as a performer due to her passion for music and arts. Ana is also a past part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Choir for the permission to sing the traditional Latin American song.
