Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. His first appearance on television, Evans played roles like Opposite and sex during 2000. In 2005, following his appearances on Not Another Teen Movie and Fantastic Four (and its sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer 2007), he was recognized for playing the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch. Evans appeared in further the film adaptations of comics and graphic novels such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). The character of Steve Rogers/Captain America is in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 (2015), 2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) as well as Endgame in 2019 earned him even more fame. Within the Marvel Universe, his character as Steve Rogers/Captain America helped him become the top-paid actor in the world.
